Organum Society

Founded in 1964, the Organum Society is an organization dedicated to the support and foster, promote and develop all forms of organ art in Finland. The central work of the Society is to organize concerts, masterclasses and seminars, and produce publications. As a discussion forum, the Society has had an important impact on the development of organ art in the past decades.

The Organum Society is open to all lovers of organ art, and, according to its by-laws, has no religious or political ties. Members of the Society receive the quarterly journal Organum, which contains articles on a wide range of current themes in organ music, building, and performance. The Society also sells its own publications, books on the above aspects of organ art.
